Be a Bright Spark This Summer

I’m in love with brights this summer! I just can’t get enough of neon nail polish, brightly coloured accessories, and oh-so-shocking pinks.

I’ve just discovered the most divine organic skincare range! Spiezia is 100% organic and the products are to die for.

Minx Teams with Coca Cola Featuring Jean Paul Gaultier

I thought this was super cute so just had to share. Recently in Sweden, Coca Cola unveiled its provocative new “corset” bottle design created by the legendary Jean Paul Gaultier and teamed up with Minx nails to provide matching nail fashion to those who attended the event.

Ava Summer Goddess Party

If you know a teen goddess you’ll want to take her to this event … the Ava Summer Goddess Party is the perfect treat for your teenage sister or daughter these holidays. The workshop for teens takes place on Monday 12 December and is offering a jam-packed line-up of beauty trends and trips for this summer.

The young divas will be treated to a talk by Jozi’s most sought after celebrity hairstylist David Gillsen on what’s hot and what’s not for hair this summer. Plus 10 of Carlton’s top stylist will be on hand to show you exactly how to get the salon look at home. Smashbox will then step up to show teens how to do perfect make-up in just 10 minutes. Carlton will also be showing teens how to take care of their skin and hair during the harsh summer months.

Each young diva will also receive a goody bag – packed with goodies from Ava, Cartlon, Smashbox and Sass Diva – as well as welcome drinks, canapes, and lots of yummy treats in between the days events.
If that’s not enough there will also be loads of prizes up for grabs on the day – including a full make-over from Carlton!

Teens can also take advantage of reduced prices on Carlton goodies – including my fave Glamour Wand – on the day.

Shop Smart with GlamBox Beauty Samples

A few week’s ago I shared a new beauty concept with you – monthly beauty sample subscriptions. I’m happy to report that I’ve found yet another beauty sample subscription option in the form of GlamBox.

GlamBox allows you to do a little research before you splash out on full-priced beauty items by sending you some samples of the top beauty products available in South Africa. Another bonus is you get the scoop on new products before anyone else!

The concept is set to change the way South African women shop for their beauty products by giving them the opportunity to try before they buy.

For a monthly fee of R100 GlamBox will deliver a gorgeous gift box that contains four to five deluxe samples from South Africa’s top beauty brands will be delivered to your door. GlamBox claims that each box will be worth at least three times the R100 subscription fee.
