A few week’s ago I shared a new beauty concept with you – monthly beauty sample subscriptions. I’m happy to report that I’ve found yet another beauty sample subscription option in the form of GlamBox.
GlamBox allows you to do a little research before you splash out on full-priced beauty items by sending you some samples of the top beauty products available in South Africa. Another bonus is you get the scoop on new products before anyone else!
The concept is set to change the way South African women shop for their beauty products by giving them the opportunity to try before they buy.
For a monthly fee of R100 GlamBox will deliver a gorgeous gift box that contains four to five deluxe samples from South Africa’s top beauty brands will be delivered to your door. GlamBox claims that each box will be worth at least three times the R100 subscription fee.

GlamBox is also giving their customers a space to respond to beauty companies via their website by giving feedback on the products they’ve received. This will be done through online surveys, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
Users will be rewarded with GlamPoints every time they interact with GlamBox online. GlamPoints can be banked and used against the purchase of the full-sized version of your favourite samples through the online store.
“The idea is to get consumers that are passionate about cosmetics and high-end beauty products trialing new brands and products in the comfort of their home to find what works for them,” explains director and founder, Kathryn Briggs.
