Cobalt Blue Heaven

I’m a little obsessed with Cobalt blue this season so I went digging around to find some things to share with you all! Here’s so lust-worthy cobalt goodies I just love:

Add a splash of cobalt blue with this cute clutch from Queue. It’ll set you back R199 but it’s so worth it!

Loving this blue boyfriend chiffon top from Sissy Boy. It’s a little steep at R599 but it’ll look great with black skinnies!

I love these cobalt blue skinnies from Sissy Boy – pick up a pair for R699 today. They’ll look great with a black tank top and riding boots.

If you’re not ready to take the plunge and wear cobalt blue jeans just yet, invest in some accessories like the bracelets above. These are from Sass Diva and will set you back R230 for the set.

Pop Ya Colour

Skinny jeans are still all the rage but this summer they’re coming out in brighter-than-bright colours. Think tangerines, pinks and cobalt.

Coloured denims look great when paired with neutrals and whites, but if you’re feeling bold try colour-blocking (pairing one bright bold colour with another). Shocking pink and tangerine and electric blue and yellow go great together.

All of these colourful denims are available at Sissy Boy stores nation wide. They’ll set you back R699 but you’re probably going to live in them this summer so it’s worth the splurge.

Orange You Glad Summer’s on its Way?

After a dull, grey winter,  bold colours are set to be the order of the day for Spring and Summer 2011, This Spring is most noticeably packing a serious citrus punch, with one of the most delicious shades to be wearing being tangerine. (Yes that’s right – orange!).

Juicy tangerine is sure to give you vibrant look this spring. Here are a few options to getting your citrus on when the weather starts heating up.

This orange top from Mr. Price is great for summer workouts or chilling on the weekend. Pick up this hooded T-shirt for just R59.99. The cardi above is also a great staple item and is available at Mr. Price for R99.99.

If you’re looking to add a little juice to your footwear try these slight wedge canvas sandals from Queue Shoes. They’ll set you back a mere R249. If you want to go a little more daring why not slip on this gorgeous ‘Frederika’ heel from Errol Arendz at Queue Shoes. You’ll need to cough up R999 for them but they’re so pretty it’s worth it!

This one shoulder frill dress is also a great way to infuse your look with a little citrus flavour. This cute little number is available at Sissy Boy for R399.

Pretty as a Daisy

It’s official flowers are trending in a BIG way this Spring/Summer. Inspired by the 1950s and every thing pretty this trend is a must-include when emerging from the dullness that was winter. I’ve just bought a gorgeous pair of floaty floral shorts from YDE and was inspired to share some ways to add a little floral infusion to your look this summer.

I love these slight cat eye floral sunglasses from Dolce&Gabbana. Pick them up for R2290 at Sunglass Hut ( a little steep but worth it if you’ve been meaning to invest in a new pair for summer). I’m also a fan of these Oversized floral sunnies also D&G. You’ll find these priced at R2290 at Sunglass Hut.

Patterns are alive from ditzy to over-sized and in every shape and form, from floaty tea dresses, right down to swimwear and accessories. These two little dresses, both from Sissy Boy are a perfect way to pretty-up your wardrobe. Both dresses are R699 at Sissy Boy stores.

If you’re not too keen to go overboard with the floral look or don’t want to dent your pocket too much why not try a subtle floral head piece like this cute headband from Foschini. It’ll set you back just R40 and it’s cute as hell.
